our language’s house

Nuu-da’ Mv-ne’

Nuu-da’ Mv-ne’ exists to support our community as they learn and speak Nuu-wee-ya'

Nuu-da’ Mv-ne’, which means our language's house or home, started as a digital archive designed to assemble all publicly available primary Nuu-wee-ya’ language sources into one location to facilitate further research and support ongoing language revitalization efforts. This archive serves as a place for language materials to live safely and as an easy access point for community members involved in language revitalization.

Since then, we have grown into a full-fledged 501(c)3 dedicated to Nuu-wee-ya' language revitalization. We aim to serve all Nuu-wee-ya' speaking people across many contemporary tribal nations. We act as an organizing hub for revitalization research, materials development and to support people in speaking Nuu-wee-ya' in their daily lives.
